Not all doctors get it - but we do Leger has been leading a testosterone revolution since 1987. We specialise in what others overlook. We know low testosterone isn’t just part of getting older. It’s a condition - and it’s treatable. We’ve seen it all: the symptoms, the frustration, the dismissive advice. We know how much low testosterone affects men - and we know how to fix it.
Step 1: Measure your testosterone levels
The first step to understanding whether you might be suitable for TRT, you will need to have two blood tests, spaced three weeks apart, for the doctor to determine whether you are eligible for treatment. These can be done in any order.
- Test 1: Testosterone Blood Test (£19)
- Test 2: TRT Confirmation Blood Test (£79 +£35 clinic fee)
Want to complete a short quiz to understand if could have low testosterone, click here OR buy your initial testosterone test for £19 here today.
Our TRT Confirmation Blood Test is £79, plus £35 clinic visit. This test includes a more comprehensive panel of biomarkers including a full hormone panel, PSA and more, which is required to check eligibility for treatment.
Step 2: Book your doctor consultation
Once a member of our medical team has reviewed your blood tests, if they indicate low testosterone levels, you will be invited to book a consultation with one of our specialist team of doctors at a time convenient to you. The initial consultation costs £149.

Step 3: Have your consultation
Your video consultation will determine whether or not you may be suitable for treatment. Consultations last up to an hour and in that time the doctor will discuss with you in detail your symptoms, blood results and different treatment options, taking into account your medical history and lifestyle. If you are, the doctor will issue a prescription which you will pay for directly with the pharmacy via an email payment link.
Please note that having a doctor consultation does not guarantee a prescription. This is at the clinical discretion of our doctors.
Find our handy consultation checklist here to help you prepare for your appointment.
Step 4: Join our membership
If you are eligible for treatment, we will invite you to join our Leger membership which covers your ongoing maintenance and support (including organising blood tests and reviews, repeat prescriptions, answering your enquiries and writing to your GP as requested).
Before your prescription is issued you will be invited to join our membership which will cover you for ongoing maintenance and support during your treatment. This includes reviews for monitoring blood tests and repeat prescriptions.
Step 5: Receive your medication and start treatment
You will receive your medication by special delivery.
Once your treatment starts you will need to have regular monitoring blood tests to ensure you are responding to treatment well. These will be reviewed by our medical team before issuing you with a repeat prescription.
Monitoring blood tests during treatment
Regular blood tests are essential so we can monitor you during treatment. Without these, we cannot issue a repeat prescription. We will get in touch to inform you when your next blood test is due and organise this for you. The standard testing schedule is:
- One month
- Three months
- Every six months, ongoing
If your dose or medication type changes, additional tests may be required. You can read more about blood testing in our guide.
Your doctor will review your first blood results post-consultation and issue your initial prescription. Afterwards, your care will be managed by our advanced nurse and clinical practitioners, who will review your results, issue prescriptions, and answer medical questions. You will remain under your doctor's overall care. If you wish to discuss your treatment or symptoms in depth, you can book a review appointment at any time with a doctor or advanced nurse practitioner.
We aim to keep your testosterone levels below 30 nmol for your safety, as consistent levels above this may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.
We ask patients to measure their blood pressure before starting treatment and every three months. Home monitors are affordable and available online or in pharmacies.
